SOURCE: China Space News UPDATED: 2 December 2018

BEIJING, Nov. 25 (China Space News) --The national space agencies of China and Brazil marked the 30th anniversary of their space cooperation by holding a symposium in Beijing on Thursday.

The two countries have conducted deep cooperation in the research and development of earth resource satellites. Experts from the two countries attending the event reviewed their achievements and looked to the future.

China and Brazil agreed to work together to develop earth satellites in 1988. For many, the highlight of their work during the last three decades was the development of six China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellites, or CBERS.
