GH Satellites Help Monitor Taiwan Quake

BEIJING, Feb. 22 (China Space News) — A 6.7-magnitude earthquake hit Kaohsiung of Taiwan at a depth of 15 kilometers at 03:57 a.m. Beijing Time on February 6, leaving at least five people dead and hundreds injured, according to the island's disaster response center.

China Center for Resources Satellite Data and Application (CRESDA), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), has given China Earthquake Administration satellite images of the affected areas to help with disaster analysis.
