China’s Yaogan-27 Remote Sensing Satellite Launched Successfully

China launched the Yaogan-27 remote sensing satellite on a LM-4C into space successfully at 10:31 a.m. on August 27 from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province. And then the satellite entered the preset orbit. The satellite will mainly be used for scientific experiments, land surveys, crop yield estimates, and disaster prevention and relief. It is believed that both the LM-4C launch vehicle and the remote sensing satellite are all developed by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. This is the 207th flight of the Long March series carrier rocket.
