China, Egypt Sign MoU on Space Cooperation

BEIJING, Feb. 1 (China Space News) — Chinese president Xi Jinping arrived in Cairo on January 20 to meet his Egyptian counterpart Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to discuss regional matters and bilateral relations.
China and Egypt inked a memorandum on of understanding on Egypt’s second remote sensing earth observation satellite, EgyptSat2 on January 21.
The two sides also agreed to step up building a satellite assembly plant.
Xi and his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, attended the signing ceremony for the deal.
