BEIJING, Mar. 24 (China Space News) — Chinese Premier Li Keqiang delivered a government work report during the opening meeting of the fourth session of the 12th National People's Congress at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, March 5, 2016.

In reviewing the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-2015) work achievements, Premier Li Keqiang said that the country had successfully fulfilled all the main tasks and targets of the economic and social development plan and made major breakthroughs in scientific and technological innovation, including manned spaceflight, lunar exploration and other projects.

At the meeting, Report on the Outline of the 13th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development (2016-2020) (draft) was submitted to the NPC for review. A number of major space projects were set in the draft outline.
