China's Carrier Rockets on Display at MAKS-2011 Airshow

BEIJING, Aug. 23 (China Space News) — China Great Wall Industry Cooperation (CGWIC), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), participated in the 10th international annual air show MAKS-2011 at Zhukovsky, near Moscow, from August 16-21.
It is the fourth time for CGWIC to be part of the renowned event. This year the organization took to the show its launch vehicles LM-3B, LM-2D and LM-4B and commercial satellite platforms DFH-4 and CAST2000, which have won international commercial contracts. In addition, CGWIC also displayed models of its LM-5 launch vehicle and DFH-5 satellite bus, which are yet to enter the commercial launch market.
Both commercially focused visitors and ordinary visitors showed great interest in CGWIC's products, especially the LM-5 launch vehicle, DFH-5 satellite bus and spacecraft component systems.
