Yuan Jiajun Re-elected Vice Chairman of CAST

BEIJING, June 3 (China Space News) — The eighth national congress of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) concluded on May 30, 2011 in Beijing. Yuan Jiajun, vice president of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) was re-elected vice chairman of the CAST's national committee.
Li Hong, head of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, was elected member of the standing committee of the eighth national committee of CAST.
Yang Junhua, deputy chairman and secretary-general of the Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA) and Huang Weidong, an official from the General Equipment Department of the People's Liberation Army were both elected members of the committee of CAST.
Luan Enjie, former vice chairman of CAST's sixth and seventh national committee was made an honorary member of CAST.
