BEIJING, Dec. 12 (China Space News) -- On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese space industry and commissioned by the Safety Strategy Research Center under China Institute for International Strategic Studies, the space situational assessment research group with Qian Xuesen Laboratory of Launch Vehicle Technology releases the second edition biennial report — Space Situational Assessment Report 2016 on Dec. 6.

The Report systematically assesses international space activities in 2014 and 2015, and also pays attention to major events in 2016, providing fairly complete data for the public and the space industry to understand world space macro situation, and is of great importance to promoting transparency in space activity.
