CASC Listed as Class-A among Central SOEs for 8 Years

BEIJING, July 25. (China Space News) — China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) has been ranked among the top performing centrally-administered state-owned enterprises in 2011, according to a statement released by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC).

CASC has been graded as an A-rated company for eight consecutive years and topped the list of companies in the military sector for the second time in a row.

Figures from the SASAC show that in 2011 CASC's total assets came to about 200 billion yuan (31.56 billion U.S. dollars), profits rose to nearly 10 billion yuan, and economic value added exceeded 6 billion yuan, while the debt-to-equity ratio kept declining.
