As the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is continuing its spread across the world, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) stays vigilant in such severe circumstances.

CASC has established a multi-layered overseas epidemic prevention and control organization structure, consolidated the responsibilities of overseas epidemic prevention work at all levels, and constantly improved the effective working mechanism to avoid loopholes in epidemic prevention and control.

Under the premise of ensuring safety, CASC optimized work organization processes and procedures, allocated resources reasonably, reserved necessary production materials, adopted telecommuting and other measures to reduce the impact of the epidemic on overseas production and operation.

In the spirit of internationalism, CASC has been encouraging its member units to provide necessary anti-epidemic supplies to aid COVID-19 fight overseas.

As of May 7th, the affiliated companies of CASC have provided government agencies, embassies, consulates, and partners in 33 countries with medical supplies, donating 1.04 million disposable medical masks, 196,000 N95 and KN95 masks, non-contact forehead thermometers, 51200 pairs of gloves and 3070 sets of protective suits.

The Aerospace Logistics, a subsidiary company of China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) has flown charter flights sent by the Chinese government to assist many countries, transporting 20,000 N95 masks, 10,000 pieces of protective suits and 10,000 sets of testing kits to Egypt, Algeria and other countries.

In the new circumstances of implementing epidemic prevention and control work on a regular basis, CASC will ensure employment and promote work resumption, while continuing efforts to do a good job in epidemic prevention and international business.
