BEIJING, Nov. 19 (China Space News) — China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) secured contracts worth over 30 billion yuan on November 17 at the ninth China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, the largest amount ever gained during the biannual event.
The agreements were signed with companies from home and abroad and covered three main business areas of CASC, namely aerospace, defence and space technology application.
Major contracts were signed with DR Congo's National Network of Satellite Telecommunications, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Shenhua Energy Company Limited, China Guodian Corporation, China Merchants Holdings (International) Company Limited and Inner Mongolia Yitai Group Co., Ltd.
Some of the contracts include the in-orbit delivery for the CongoSat-01 satellite, frame contract for the APSTAR satellite, and bulk procurement deals of communications satellites, remote-sensing satellites and launch vehicles.
