The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) announced on Thursday that 65 scientists had been elected as new CAS academicians. The Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) announced that 84 scientists had been elected as new CAE academicians.

Yun Dengyun and Fan Ruixiang of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation(CASC) were elected academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Wang Guoqing, Li Detian and Yang Hong were elected academicians of the Chinese Academy of engineering. At present, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation has 36 academicians.
