China on Friday honored 148 units and 148 individuals, including one awarded posthumously, for their outstanding contributions to the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games and the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, and other leaders conferred the awards on the representatives at a gathering held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology and Aerospace Research Institute of Materials & Processing Technology were awarded the title of "Outstanding Contribution to the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games".
