Shenzhou-10 spacecraft to be launched in mid-June

JIUQUAN, GANSU, June 3 (Xinhua) -- The manned Shenzhou-10 mission will be launched in the middle of June, said a spokesperson of China's manned space program on Monday.

The mission has entered the final phase of its preparation, with the assembly of the spacecraft and the modified model of Long March-2F carrier rocket being transported to the launch site on Monday morning, said the spokesperson.

The spacecraft, which will be launched in mid-June from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, will carry three astronauts and dock with Tiangong-1, target orbiter and space module.

During the mission, astronauts will also give a lesson to a group of students, said a spokesperson of China's manned space program.
