BEIJING, Feb. 18 (China Space News) — The 2013 Touching China awards ceremony was held on February 10 in Beijing. Ten inspirational role models and one special group of Chinese working in the aerospace field were given awards during the ceremony.

"Starting in 2003, China's manned space program has seen ten years' progress…and each flight takes Chinese people deeper into space and closer to our dream," the Awarding committee said while presenting the award.

The Touching China awards ceremony is presented by CCTV annually in honor of those whose performances have touched the nation over the past year.
