BEIJING, May. 19 (China Space News) — The 32nd session of Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC) meeting was held in Beijing, May 12~15, China.
Space agencies from 14 countries and organizations attended the conference and presented their research and study on space debris in the last year.
The meeting discussed and approved the minutes of the meeting and IADC-related documents. It was also decided that 33rd IADC Conference presidency would be National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
At the conference China National Space Administration (CNSA) said that China has done a lot of research and application on space debris detection, modeling, prevention and mitigation. China has completed the preliminary construction of the space debris monitoring and early warning system, and provided space debris monitoring and early warning technical services for manned space exploration missions and application satellites.
