BEIJING, July. 11 (China Space News) — Lei Fanpei, president of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) met with the visiting Airbus Group CEO Thomas Enders on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Mr. Lei briefed the guests on the achievements CASC made in recent years in the aerospace field and future development plans. He also reviewed the history of cooperation between the two parties in many fields, hoping to further its cooperation with Airbus in more areas.

Enders described the institutional changes in the Airbus consortium. He said he was impressed with the great successes China's space industry had achieved and Airbus attached much importance to economic cooperation with Chinese enterprises.

He also said that they will carefully study the related proposals for cooperation, promote cooperation and strive to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcome.
