CASC and Rostec Sign Cooperation Agreement

BEIJING, Oct. 15. (China Space News) — A strategic cooperation agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of CASC, Lei Fanpei, and the chief executive of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, on Oct. 13.

The visiting Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang, and his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, witnessed the signing of the agreement.

The agreement focuses on the non-military sector. The two parities will cooperate in research and development as well as production of electronic components, information technology, communications, automation systems and new materials.

Rostec was established in 2007 to facilitate the development, production and export of high-tech industrial products for civilian and military application. It includes around 700 organizations.
