BEIJING, Aug. 25 (China Space News) — The launch service contract for Turkmenistan's NSSC satellite, signed by China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) and Thales Alenia Space last year came into force on August 15.

According to the contract, NSSC telecommunication satellite will be launched on a Long March 3B launch vehicle from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center between October and December 2014.
