On June 17, 2025, the State Council Information Office held a group interview in Beijing on pursuing self-reliant development in manned spaceflight. Five representatives in the field of manned spaceflight  attended the group interview.

Yang Hong, chief designer of the Manned Space Station System of China Manned Space Program and researcher at the China Academy of Space Technology of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, met journalists and answered questions.
